Key less entry is gaining popularity among luxury cars these days. Toyota cars are equipped with keyless entry. In some luxury cars there is no key at all. The driver will carry a small RF device which will transmit a beacon. The receiver in the car can detect this beacon. The receiver is capable of determining the distance of the rf key. The security systems of the car will be deactivated only if the RF key is within a certain distance from the vehicle. Old systems used plain RF communication to make this possible.
But car thief’s became smarter and they started hacking those systems. The next generation featured encoded signals, but they were also not very helpful. Now most of the systems are hybrid ones which cannot be hacked very easily. Modern keyless entry systems feature bluetooth, zigbee etc which can be controlled from mobile phones also.
My name is ODETUNDUN, Abayomi T. of the department of computer science and engineering, from one of the Nigerian University. I am studying Computer Engineering but I dont think I have really have a deep knowledge about the course it self, due to my unseriousness at the begining of my study, am in my fourth year of a five year course and dont even know what i can use as my final year project whereas most of my corse mates are developing theres now. I need help on how to go about it: what topic to choose, how to get variety of topics good for research, how to develop myself,etc.
i need REAL HELP on what to do where to find relevant materials for it and so on. I wish I can have the best project in the entire country of Nigeria, but it seems is too late. i thought its never too late ontil it is late. i decided to find help on the internet where i can get someone or a school to tutor me on what to do at little or no cost at all.
